Officials: Supply Donations Down

 Julie Adams, office assistant at Grace Hill Elementary, packs a couple of back packs with supplies for a first grade and a fourth grade student Wednesday August 10, 2011 at the school in Rogers. Donations of school supplies seem to be down this year. Adams said that the closet usually has more supplies than it currently has this close to the start of school.

Some students will have more to worry about than having the coolest backpack when they return to school Monday — they’ll have to worry about having a backpack at all.
