LOCAL CLUB NOW ACCEPTING SUBMISSIONS FOR REGIONAL SHOW

Ken Kvamme looks at some of the paintings guest speaker Barbara Robinson brought to the Artists of Northwest Arkansas club meeting on Thursday at the Arts Center of the Ozarks in Springdale.
California is a very art conscious area, and in it, there are art clubs “all over the place,” said former Los Angeles resident and art teacher Beth Vacanti. So when she moved to Fayetteville in 1987, the Northwest Arkansas city’s lack of an art club troubled her.
