A national television audience saw what most of Arkansas already knew on Friday night -- Shiloh Christian quarterback Kiehl Frazier is a pretty special football player.

Frazier ran for 261 yards and a pair of touchdowns to lead Shiloh to a 48-27 win against Greenwood in Champions Stadium in a game televised by ESPNU.

In what has been one of the most exciting nonconference matches in the state over the past few years, this one again lived up to its billing pitting Class 5A's top-ranked Greenwood and Class 4A's Shiloh. The teams combined for 839 yards and 75 points in another classic wild offensive shootout.

But Greenwood (2-1) had no answer for Frazier, who not only ran roughshod over the Bulldogs on the ground, but also completed 12 of 16 passes for 209 yards and four touchdowns.

Shiloh (2-1) scored touchdowns on its first three possessions to take a 21-7 lead. The Saints drove 80 yards on seven plays to open the game -- the first six plays all on the ground. Frazier and Garrett Harper, who rushed for 80 yards on 13 carries, gouged the Bulldogs for huge gains and Frazier hit Colt Thomas on a 10-yard scoring pass.

Greenwood answered back with a short drive following a Shiloh pooch kick. Bulldogs quarterback Stephen Hogan was perfect on the drive, going 6-of-6 and scoring on a one-yard keeper to tie the game at 7-7. Hogan was stellar in the first half, going 16-of-20, but struggled in the second half, completing just 1-of-9 over a three-possession stretch at one point.

The Saints added two more first-quarter touchdowns and went into the half with a 28-20 lead.

Shiloh seized control of the game in the third quarter, scoring a pair of touchdowns in a span of 51 seconds. Frazier hit Thomas on a 17-yard scoring strike after Shiloh stopped Greenwood on a short fourth down play. Then Harper intercepted a Hogan pass to set up Frazier's short scoring run for a 42-20 lead to basically seal the win.

Greenwood sophomore Drew Morgan had a big offensive output for the Bulldogs, who open 5A-West Conference play at Siloam Springs next week, rushing for 76 yards on just four carries and a pair of touchdowns.

Shiloh opens 4A-1 Conference play on the road next week at Berryville.
