SouthPass May Lose Land If Payment To Bank Missed

Work crews clear brush and debris from the old Judge Cummins ranch on July 25, 2008. The property is part of the Southpass development that has been in the works for more than six years. By Friday, Fayetteville expects to hold the deed to more than 200 acres planned for a park.
By the end of this week, the city should own more than 200 acres for a regional park in south Fayetteville that officials have been anticipating for six years.
