Faulkner-Bowen

Olivia Tucker Bowen and Matthew Floyd Faulkner, both of Loganville, Ga., were married at 3 p.m. Sept. 4, 2010, at Mildred B. Cooper Memorial Chapel in Bella Vista. The Rev. Kenneth Parks oft ciated.

The bride is the daughter of Lisa and David Whitaker of Fayetteville and Terry Bowen of London, Ark. She is the granddaughter of the late Anne and Clay Raney and the late Juanita and Doyle Bowen.

The groom is the son of Sherrill and Floyd Faulkner of Vinita, Okla., and the grandson of Jo Lee Faulkner of Vinita, the late Vol Faulkner and the late Mary and Sam Seabolt.

The bride wore an ivory taffeta gown with a strapless sweetheart bodice covered in beaded embroidery, a pick-up layered skirt and matching beaded embroidery on the train. She wore a fingertip length veil edged in satin ribbon and carried a bouquet of blue hyacinths, blue-green hydrangeas, green berries, ivy and a sugar cube for a sweet life together.

Melissa Bowen of New York attended her sister as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were cousin of the bride Jessica Williams of Bentonville, Brandi Moore of Farmington, Lexy Houghland of Farmington and Brenda Flack of Fayetteville.

Joshua Miller of Fayetteville served as best man. Groomsmen were Daniel Miller of Fayetteville, Michael Lindstrom of Fayetteville, Michael Williams of Bentonville and Adam Wiederkehr.

Keely and Kally Stout were flower girls. Camden Cowell was ringbearer.

Chad McCord and Sam McCord seated guests, and Sandee Marlow attended the guest book. Wedding music was provided by violinist Madeleine Hogue.

A reception followed at the Fayetteville Town Center with Holli Sublette assisting.

After a wedding trip to Disney World, the couple live in Loganville, Ga.

The bride is a research assistant microbiologist for the U.S. Department of Agriculture in Athens, Ga., and the groom is a postdoctoral fellow at the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta.

Funderburg-DeWitt

Kameron Kiley DeWitt of Fort Smith and Danny Clay Funderburg of Mayfl ower were married at 7 p.m. Oct. 16, 2010, at Horner Hall in the Hot Springs Convention Center. The Rev. Robert Cloninger oft ciated.

The bride is the mother of Gianna DeWitt and the daughter of Grayce DeWitt of Fort Smith and Cindy and Larry DeWitt of Hot Springs.

The groom is the father of Collin Funderburg and the son of Judy and Danny Funderburg of Springdale.

The bride wore a slim A-line gown featuring elaborate fl oral motifs decorating a tulle lace overlay with light gold and champagne accents. She carried a bouquet of blush, cream and white garden roses with stephanotis accented with pearl centers, hand-tied with satin ribbon and adorned with a vintage brooch belonging to her maternal grandmother.

Dawn Freeman of Lexington, Ky., attended her cousin as maid of honor, and Ashley Lee of Rogers, sister of the groom, was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were the bride’s cousin Lauralee O’Kelley of Atlanta, Texas, Shannon Petree of Chicago, Tara Adams of Fayetteville, Indra Karrant of St. Louis, Allyson Moulton of Roanoke, Va., Elise Rasco of Los Angeles and Kelli Cherhan of Memphis, Tenn.

Danny Funderburg of Springdale served his son as best man. Groomsmen were brotherin-law Judsen Lee of Rogers, Gary Tipton of Fort Smith, Scott Brooks of Little Rock and Ben Zulpo.

Daughter of the bride Gianna DeWitt of Fort Smith, cousin of the bride Caianne Brugger of Lexington, Ky., and sister of the bride Madison DeWitt of Hot Springs were fl ower girls. The groom’s son Collin Funderburg of Mayflower was ringbearer.

Jamiann Estep attended the guest book, and wedding music was provided by Jonathan Karrant and Glenda Aldridge.

A reception followed at the same venue.

After a wedding trip to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, the couple live in Little Rock.

The groom is a sales representative at GDH Consulting in Little Rock.

Ford-Sommers

Shannon Marie Sommers and Shaun “Bryan” Ford, both of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., were married at 5 p.m. July 4, 2010, at Doubletree Oceanpoint Resort in Sunny Isles, Fla. Joe Blair oft ciated.

The bride is the daughter of Sharon and Richard Bible and Julie and Bill Sommers, all of Ocala, Fla. She is the granddaughter of Doris and Frank Shupp of Ocala.

The groom is the son of Joyce and Robert Ford of Blue Springs, Mo. He is the grandson of Sonya and Lindon “Walton” Ford of Rogers, Evelyn and Harvey Wight of Rogers, Edith Claypool of Springdale and the late Johnnie C. Claypool.

The bride wore a white satin off -the-shoulder dress with a semi-cathedral train adorned with pearl and crystal beading and a fi ngertip-length veil secured by a rhinestone headpiece. She carried a bouquet of green and white cymbidium orchids, white calla lilies and seagrass.

Melinda Willis of Fort Lauderdale attended the bride as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Stacy Cohan of Olathe, Kan., Trianna Myrick of Jacksonville, Fla., and Kimberly Martin of Ocala.

John Belanger of Greenwood, Mo., was best man. Groomsmen were Joe Blair of Greenwood and Brandon Pierce of Independence, Mo.

Trista Sommers of Ocala, niece of the bride, was fl ower girl. Stephen Sommers of Ocala, nephew of the bride, was ringbearer.

The bride’s brothers Joe Sommers and Scott Sommers seated guests. Sister of the groom Laura Ford attended the guest book.

A reception was held at Atlantic Pointe Reception Hall in Sunny Isles.

After a wedding trip to Playa Del Carmen, Mexico, the couple live in Oakland Park, Fla.

The bride is a physical education teacher at Bennet Elementary School in Fort Lauderdale, and the groom is assistant superintendent at Robinson Morton in Miami.

Harriman-Porter

McCall Hailey Porter and John Kendall Harriman, both of Little Rock, were married at 4:30 p.m. Oct. 30, 2010, at St. Catherine’s at Bell Gable in Fayetteville. Anton Janik oft ciated.

The bride is the daughter of Rhonda and Edward Porter of Springdale.

The groom is the son of Donna Harriman of Fayetteville, Martha Miller of Little Rock and Susan and Morril Harriman of Little Rock.

The bride wore a light gold and ivory A-line dress overlaid in lace with a deep V-shaped neckline and back edged in scalloped lace. She carried a brooch bouquet made of pins and brooches contributed by both the bride’s and groom’s families.

Mackenzie Porter of Springdale attended her sister as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Jackie Bowman of Austin, Texas, Leah Graham of Fayetteville, Jennifer Ruth Jones of Santa Monica, Calif., Jane Kim of Little Rock, Jennifer Nicodemus of Springdale, Lindy Locke Schafer of Little Rock and Mary Catherine Way of Little Rock.

Jesse Sangster of Van Buren served as best man. Groomsmen were Brian Harriman of Fayetteville, Nic Howard of Fort Smith, Cameron McCree of Little Rock, Chris Nebben of Little Rock, Billy Pharis of Van Buren, William Trentham of Bella Vista and Nick Tucker of Van Buren.
