Hilda LuCretia Eidon Gill

TYRONZA — Hilda LuCretia Eidon Gill, 87, of Tyronza, Ark., passed away Friday, Oct. 29, 2010, at Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro, Ark.

She was born in Centerville, Ark., and had lived most of her life in Tyronza, Ark. She attended State Teacher’s College in Conway, Ark., where she received her teaching degree. Hilda taught school in Turrell, Ark., Tyronza, Ark., and Marked Tree, Ark. She retired from teaching at Mid-South Vo-Tech School in West Memphis, Ark.

Mrs. Gill was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Vernie Eidson; three brothers, Harold Eidson, Ed Eidson and J.L. Eidson; and six sisters, Kitty Miles, Nora Lee Dodson, Bernice Thompson, Virginia Craig, Elsie Ree Maxey and Polly McDaniel.

She is survived by her husband, R.D. Gill of Tyronza, whom she was married to for 63 years; her children, Randy and Becky Shinabery of Marked Tree, Ark., Frankie and Beth Hall of Pocahontas, Ark., Dr. Mike and Babs Carter of Fayetteville, Ark., Rex and Cathy Gill of Marion, Ark., and Rick and Elizabeth Gill of Marion, Ark.; grandchildren, Drs. Lee and Kerri Shinabery, Stephanie Shinabery, Gill and Cari Shinabery, Trey and Sara Hall, Luke and LuCretia Landry, Captain Brian and Amanda Carter, Nick and Erin Forro, the Rev. Chad and Megan Kumpe, Richie and Dara Gill, Brandon and Lindsay Gill, Bradley Gill, Jonathan Gill and Meredith Gill; great-grandchildren, Ashlee, Allison and Anna Shinabery, McKenzie and Alexa Shinabery, Allie, Darby and Darci Hall, Abigail and Lawson Landry, Andrew Carter, Nicholas and Carter Forro, Gabby and Ridge Gill and Avery Gill; and two sisters, Irene Henry of Dumas, Ark., and Sara McCormick of Crossett, Ark.

The visitation was Saturday, Oct. 30, 2010, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home in West Memphis, Ark.

The service will be today, Oct. 31, 2010, at Tyronza United Methodist Church at 2 p.m. with interment following the service in Tyronza Cemetery.

Anna Heath

FAYETTEVILLE — Anna “Annie” Heath of Fayetteville, Ark., passed away Thursday, Sept. 30, 2010, in Fayetteville. She was born Sept. 30, 1949, in Ames, Iowa, to Robert S. and Juanita (Brown) Fairchild. She was one of the founding faculty members at Mississippi County Community College (now Arkansas Northeastern), and she taught there for 26 years. She was a member of First Christian Church in Fayetteville.

There will be a memorial reception to honor Annie Heath on Friday, Nov. 5, at the Inn at Carnall Hall. Drop-ins are welcome between 5:30 and 8:30 p.m.

Donovan Michael Hash

ELKINS — Donovan Michael Hash, 40, of Elkins died Oct. 26, 2010, at University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock. He was born Sept. 30, 1970, in La Jolla, Calif., to Patricia Schoenfield Hash and Michael Paul Pitts. He loved nature including catching snakes and swimming in the river.

Survivors include his mother; Patricia Schoenfield of Elkins; his father, Paul Pitts of Elkins; a sister; one brother, Aaron Pitts of Elkins.

Memorial service will be at 7 p.m. today at 948 McKnight St. in West Fork on the West Fork River.

Cremation arrangements were by Epting Funeral Home in Fayetteville.
