PUBLIC VIEWPOINT Tired Of This President

Tired Of This President

For almost two years, Barack Obama and his Democrat allies have made great gains on their way to “fundamentally transforming America” - an America where wealth is distributed rather than earned, and where cronyism trumps success in the free market.

We have had to watch him and his merry band of Marxists trample our Constitution by creating rights for one man while forcing his neighbor to guarantee those rights.

We have had to listen to the president and his friends in the media trash those of us who disagree with him as “tea baggers,” racists and bigots.

We have had to listen to him promise his people employment while at the same time demonizing and punishing those who do the employing. That’s silly and cruel.

He and his friends have sold the idea to far too many people that getting a return on one’s hard-earned money is somehow unearned or unfair and therefore should be taxed even more in order to guarantee the benefits of a growing dependency class and to underwrite lavish pensions of his union friends andfellow members of the ruling elite.

But a growing number of us have grown weary of Obama telling us that we are the problem. We are tired of listening to a man whose worldview is born out of disdain for those who achieve. We are tired of this country being led by a man whose political success is based on growing a dependency class groveling to him and his Democrat allies for their subsistence.

But we, the people, are not the problem. We are the solution.

The problem is Obama, the least accomplished man in the room - any room. On Nov. 2, he and his allies will see just what a huge problem he is.

REPUBLICANS ARE LISTENERS

The Democrats have control in Washington and can pass any good legislation they want with no fear of a filibuster, so I am puzzled why they call the Republicans the “Party of No.” Is it possible that the “Party of No”has earned that title by listening to the majority of American voters?

If we had the line-item veto, would we have proposed bills comprised of over 2,000 pages with no time to read them before the vote? Also, would there be so many unnecessary riders attached?

Both parties better wake up and do what is right for America so we can continue to be No. 1 in the world. The elected officials need to remember one thing: They work for us, we don’t work for them. Can Nov. 2 come soon enough?

SHOW US THE TALLIES

Bill Williams, chairman of the Benton County Election Commission, is set on doing away with reporting vote tallies to the media on election night.

Watching the returns on TV is a tradition for many, many of us. It ain’t broke; don’t “fix” it!

Prayers Were Answered In Women’s Clinic’s Closing

To the people who staged the protests and prayed across the street from the Fayetteville Women’s Clinic for the clinic to close, your prayers have been answered.

SOCIALISM IS CREEPING UP

Wake up America! We are giving away our personal freedom.

With one hand the government gives, with the other it takes control.

Beware of a wolf in sheep’s clothing.

America was founded to escape government tyranny.

Think people; equal sharing of wealth is a socialistic concept.

Utopia doesn’t work.

It’s an equal sharing of misery.

Should the A student share his grade with thefailing so they both have C’s?

Our wonderful country is based on equal opportunity to work hard - free enterprise - yes capitalism working for ourselves, not the government.

The liberal press should think too.

Our children live in Russia currently.

Journalists opposing the government are dying. The voice of freedom now enjoyed can disappear under “government knows best.”

Stop this senseless spending, taxing and government control.

This election is not about Republican vs. Democrat.

It’s about socialism vs. democracy. Wake up and save a free America for our children and grandchildren.
