NORTHWEST ARKANSAS — Rogers High freshman Tiffany Tang advanced to the semifinals of the Overall Tennis Tournament with a 6-1, 6-1 victory over Rebecca Harrington of Jonesboro on Wednesday afternoon.
Tang, the 7A-West Conference and Class 7A singles state champion, will play in the semifinals at 10 a.m. today at Burns Park in North Little Rock. The finals are set for 1 p.m.
“Tiffany played well,” Lady Mounties coach Ronnie Cowan said. “She beat a good opponent. Tiffany just got it in with more and more pace and that really frustrated the other girl.”
