BENTONVILLE — Charles London, author of Far From Zion: In Search of a Global Jewish Community, will speak at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 6 at Congregation Etz Chaim, 2406 E. Central Ave.
London visited Northwest Arkansas while doing research for his 2009 book and included an extensive chapter on the Jewish community of Bentonville in Far From Zion. During his talk, London will discuss his experiences visiting with Jewish communities around the world.
The author will also speak at 3 p.m. Nov. 7 at Congregation Agudath Achim, 7901 W. Fifth St., Little Rock.
