BENTONVILLE — The Bentonville Public Library’s Children’s Department will hold a mock election through Thursday.
Library patrons in kindergarten through 12th grade will use an online voting system to cast votes for U.S. senator, 3rd Congressional District representative and governor. The polling place will be at the Children’s Services Desk. The library is at 405 S. Main St.
The mock election program is sponsored by the Youth Leadership Initiative, a national civic education program based at the University of Virginia Center for Politics.
National and statewide results of the mock election will be available Friday morning at www.youthleadership.net.
