Man Pleads Guilty To Porn

FAYETTEVILLE — A Fayetteville man pleaded guilty in federal court Monday to downloading child pornography to his computer.

Jonathan Cicero, 32, entered a plea bargain with prosecutors to avoid a trial and will be sentenced at a later date. Cicero pleaded guilty to count one of a four-count indictment.

Police and prosecutors said Cicero downloaded video of children engaged in sex acts in early February. Fayetteville police said Cicero confessed.

Cicero faces up to 20 years in prison, with a five-year minimum, fines of up to $250,000 and supervised probation from five years to life.

Cicero forfeited a computer and data storage devices.

Man Sentenced for Child Porn, Flight

FAYETTEVILLE — A Bentonville man was sentenced late Friday to more than 20 years in federal prison for downloading child pornography and not showing up for court.

Troy Wayne Fletcher, 48, pleaded guilty in U.S. District Court in May to possessing video images in 2005 of minors engaged in sexually explicit activities.

Fletcher failed to appear for court in January 2007 and was later found living in Stone County, Mo., and arrested.

On Monday, U.S. District Judge Jimm Hendren sentenced Fletcher to 20 years on the child porn charge and four years for failing to appear. Those terms will run consecutively. Fletcher was also ordered to serve lifetime supervised release after his prison terms and was ordered to pay a $17,000 fine.
