WEDDING KATIE ELIZABETH COLLINS JESSE VESCON HOLLOWELL

— Katie Elizabeth Collins and Jesse “Tripp” Vescon Hollowell III were united in marriage at 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 16, at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. Monsignor David LeSieur officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Beth and Ellis Collins of Rogers. She is the granddaughter of Virginia and Dr. Ellis Morgan Collins Jr. of Forrest City and the late Mary Ann and Phil Turner Sr. of Memphis.

The groom is the son of Mary Ann and Jesse Hollowell Jr. of Helena. He is the grandson of Joe Ann and Richard Hargraves, Jesse Hollowell Sr. and the late Mary Ruth Hollowell, all also of Helena.

Lectors were Dixie Lawrence, cousin of the bride, and Lisa Turner, the bride’s aunt. Altar servers were Grant McKenzie, Connor McKenzie and Riley Maas, all of Rogers. Nuptial music was provided by vocalists Tony Hoyt, Emily Garrett and Shaun Wesley and organist Lourdes Montgomery.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a natural-color dupioni silk gown with a portrait neckline and Alencon lace bodice, a keyhole back and chapel-length train. A silk-satin sash with a pearl and rhinestone broach adorned the gown at the natural waist. She wore a natural fingertip-length veil and carried a mix of ivory and green flowers, including cabbage roses, hydrangeas, hypericum berries, stock, angel vine, freesia, ranunculus, anemones and dusty miller.

Mary Morgan Collins of Rogers served her sister as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Kristin Bettis of South Haven, Miss., sister of the bridegroom; Emily Curtis ofFort Worth; Giny Draper of Little Rock, cousin of the bride; Meredith Looney and Claire Sizemore, both of Little Rock; Sarah Douglas of Mission, Kan.; and Catie Bulger, also of Fort Worth. They wore mink chiffon one shoulder A-line gowns with an Empire waist. They carried bouquets of cabbage roses, hydrangeas, hypericum berries, stock, angel vine, freesia, ranunculus, anemones and dusty miller in ivory, orange, peach, brown and green.

Caroline Spendio of Medina, Minn., was flower girl. Landen Maas of Rogers was ring bearer.

The bridegroom’s father and grandfather, Jesse Hollowell Sr., served as best men.

Groomsmen were Drew Fielder of Helena;

Matthew Lewis of Dallas; Roger Shafer of Nevada, Mo.; Jared Fannon of Collierville, Tenn.; Nathan Waldrip of Fayetteville; Trey Becton of Little Rock; and Calvin Puryear of Dumas.

After the ceremony, a reception was held at Pinnacle Country Club. The theme was rustic elegance and decorations were pumpkins, iron candelabras and lanterns. Jessica Kersey was the wedding planner.

The bride has a bachelor’s degree in marketing management from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville. She is a senior account manager for Rockfish Interactive in Rogers.

The bridegroom has a bachelor’s degree in finance and retail marketing, also from the university. He is a sales and collaborative planning, forecasting and replenishment analyst for Maurice Sporting Goods in Bentonville.

After a wedding trip to Jamaica the couple will reside in Fayetteville.
