Turbine Boss is a plastic louvered device that uses a thermostatic controller, which has a 25-year replacement guarantee, to automatically close its louvers during cold weather, open during hot. No batteries required. You set level of winter air-flow. Fits all residential turbinevents. To install, loosen screws and remove turbine head, place Turbine Boss in roof mount, reattach head. Manufacturer suggests trying it out by placing it in refrigerator, waiting 30 minutes, then viewing closed louvers.

Made from polypropylene and copolyester (BPA free), it includes a sauce pot, inner dish and fork/knife combo. Aglass-like lid locks to the body for a water-tight seal.
