POTTSVILLE 28, MENA 23
MENA - Jay Wright scored on two short runs in the fourth quarter as Pottsville (5-3, 3-2 4-4A) knocked off Mena (7-1, 4-1).
Wright scored on a pair of 1-yard runs in the fourth quarter, and the Apaches’ defense made that hold up.
Mena pulled within six with 1:25 left on Reed Mendoza’s 30-yard touchdown pass to Bradley Crawford, but Pottsville recovered a Mena onside kick attempt and held on for the victory.
Pottsville’s Quwillien Porter added a 95-yard kickoff return for a touchdown, and Michael Perry hit Justin Keene with a 52-yard touchdown pass for Pottsville’s other score.
Tanner Hooper had a 50-yard touchdown run for Mena. Mendoza and Bradley also hooked up for a 3-yard touchdown pass.
Jack Railey kicked a 30-yard field goal for Mena.
CLARKSVILLE 30, DOVER 28
CLARKSVILLE - Trey Schucker passed for three touchdowns as Clarksville (3-5, 2-3 4-4A) held off Dover (3-5, 0-5).
Schucker hit Jordan Bateman and Colton Smith with scoring strikes that covered 27 and 38 yards.
Andre Redman added a 1-yard rushing touchdown for Clarksville.
Smith finished with 8 receptions for 66 yards. Schucker completed 10 of 17 passes for 118 yards.
BOONEVILLE 47, WALDRON 15
WALDRON - Weston Hughes ran for 122 yards and 4 touchdowns and Talor Tatterson added 120 yards and 2 touchdowns as Booneville (8-0, 5-0 4-4A) remained undefeated with a victory over Waldron (1-7, 0-5).
Hughes scored on runs of 24, 14, 5 and 3 yards. Tatterson’s touchdown runs covered 28 and 15 yards.
Taylor Hart added Booneville’s other touchdown on a 1-yard run.
Ozzie Ozuna hit Jordan Tull with a 70-yard touchdown pass for Waldron, and Brandon Freeman scored on a 1-yard run.
SUBIACO ACADEMY 14, DARDANELLE 13
DARDANELLE - Marquis Walters scored both touchdowns for Subiaco Academy (5-3, 4-1 4-4A) as the Trojans held off Dardanelle (4-4, 2-3).
Walters’ touchdowns included an85-yard run.
Joey Collins scored on a 76-yard run for Dardanelle.
1-3A CONFERENCE
MARSHALL 35, GREEN FOREST 28
GREEN FOREST - Mason Milsap carred 22 times for 168 yards and scored 5 touchdowns, including a 40-yard interception return for a score, to lead Marshall (4-4, 2-3 1-3A) past Green Forest (2-6, 1-4).
Bryan Badley led Green Forest with 3 receptions for 129 yards and 2 touchdowns. Dylan Allen added 96 yards rushing and 2 touchdowns on 14 carries.
GREENLAND 27, ELKINS 0
GREENLAND - Anthony McCool rushed 31 times for 197 yards and 3 touchdowns to lead Greenland (6-2, 4-1 1-3A) past Elkins (6-2, 4-1).
McCool scored on runs of 14, 1 and 8 yards.
Ryan Duchanois caught a 36-yard touchdown pass from Jordan Larkan.
4-3A CONFERENCE
LAMAR 19, PERRYVILLE 0
LAMAR - Daniel Shaw had 15 carries for 123 yards as Lamar (3-5, 3-2 4-3A Conference) shut out Perryville (1-7, 0-5).
Justin Williams had 14 carries for 83 yards and scored on a 5-yard run.
Tommy Haas added a 37-yard field goal, and Cameron Cowell scored on a 33-yard run.
PARIS 42, ATKINS 7
ATKINS - Mason Koenigseder had 15 carries for 158 yards and scored 2 touchdowns as Paris (6-2, 3-2 4-3A) defeated Atkins (0-8, 0-5).
Keonigseder scored on runs of 22 and 25 yards and caught a 20-yard touchdown pass from Josh Parsons.
Parsons also scored on a pair of 1-yard runs, and Casey Dishonghreturned a punt 55 yards for another touchdown.
4-2A CONFERENCE
DANVILLE 63, DECATUR 0
DANVILLE - Danville (7-1, 6-1 2A-4) scored 35 points in the first quarter in a shutout over Decatur (1-6, 1-5 2A-4).
Mike Jiles had two passing touchdowns and one rushing touchdown. Dadrion Ester scored on a 37-yard punt return, and brother Jaylon Ester scored next on a fumble recovery returned nine yards for a touchdown.
Danville had 351 yards rushing on 16 carries.
UNION CHRISTIAN 48, HARTFORD 0
HARTFORD - Mohammed Matlock ran for 118 yards and Matt Callaway added 109 yards rushing as Union Christian (2-5, 2-4 4-2A) shut out Hartford (0-6, 0-6).
Matlock scored on a 59-yard run on the first play of the game, and Union Christian never looked back as it took a 32-0 lead into the second quarter.
Cheyenne Rogers hit Matt Callaway with a 76-yard touchdown later in the quarter, and Calloway added another touchdown in the second quarter on a 70-yard interception return. Callaway scored his final touchdown on a 41-yard run in the third quarter.
Austin Albert added a 29-yard touchdown run, and Rogers connected with Roger Harrison for a 29-yard touchodown pass.
HACKETT 55, TWO RIVERS 7
HACKETT - Dillon Yazel rushed 8 times for 147 yards and 1 touchdown and returned an interception for another as Hackett (5-3) defeated Two Rivers in a nonconference game.
Yazel scored on a 35-yard run in the second quarter, and his 96-yard interception return came on the last play of the first half.
Evan Ray hit Logan Bennett with a pair of touchdown passes. The first covered 16 yards, and the second was for 11 yards.
Ray also hit Dexter Holcombe with a 45-yard touchdown pass and scored on a 5-yard run.
Cody Jones added a 1-yard touchdown run for Hackett, and Luke Kimmons scored on a 46-yard run.
MAGAZINE 41, JOHNSON CO. WESTSIDE 0
MAGAZINE - Ryan Chambers passed for two touchdowns and his twin brother Cory ran for two scores to lead Magazine (8-0, 6-0 4-2A) over Johnson County Westside (5-3, 3-3).
Ryan Chambers hit Holden Chadwick with a 10-yard touchdown pass in the second quarter and added a 10-yard scoring pass to Long Yang in the third quarter.
Cory Chambers scored on runs of 1 and 15 yards.
John Terry scored on an 8-yard run in the first quarter, and Chang Yang added a 1-yard touchdown run in the third.
