CONWAY — Jamarkus Harmon had 21 carries for 287 yards and 3 touchdowns and Desmond Cox added two touchdowns as Conway defeated Van Buren 44-26 in a 7A-Central Conference game.
Harmon scored his first touchdown on an 82-yard run in the second quarter. He added a 21-yard touchdown run in the third quarter, then capped his big night with a 59-yard run in the fourth quarter.
Cox scored his first touchdown on an 89-yard kickoff return in the third quarter, then completed the scoring for Conway (7-1, 4-1) with a 2-yard run in the fourth quarter.
Tyler Langley completed 11 of 17 passes for 157 yards with 1 touchdown and 1 interception.
Tyler Spoon and Drew White hooked up for a pair of touchdowns for Van Buren (6-2, 3-2).
