BENTONVILLE — Michael Luther Kanning, 51, of 604 S.W. Fifth St. in Bentonville was arrested Thursday by Bentonville police in connection with drugs.
Kanning is the husband of Cheryl Kanning, 51, of Bentonville, who was reported missing by her husband on Jan. 26.
Cheryl Kanning was last seen driving away from her residence at 3407 Crosswinds in Bentonville on Jan. 24 following a domestic dispute, according to Bentonville police.
Michael Kanning was being held Thursday in the Benton County Jail in connection with felony possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and misdemeanor public intoxication.
Bentonville police said Kanning was in possession of prescription drugs without a prescription.
He was awaiting a bond hearing Thursday.
