FAYETTEVILLE — The Fayetteville High School Student Council is collecting food for the school district’s food pantry at Jefferson Center.
The drive continues through Nov. 5.
The pantry and clothing closet, collectively called the Outback, are open to Fayetteville students and their families.
The food drive includes all schools in the Fayetteville district.
The students will accept nonperishable foods, such as all types of canned goods, pasta, soups, peanut butter, jelly, canned tuna and fish, Hamburger Helper, spaghetti meat sauce, cereal and snacks.
The student council representatives will provide fliers and signs for each school and will pick up food each Friday.
