District Receives Technology Honor

— The Fayetteville School District was named one of the top schools in the U.S. for its use of technology to govern the district, communicate with students, parents and the community, and to improve district operations.

This is the second consecutive year the district has been recognized in the midsized student population category by the Center for Digital Education and the National School Boards Association.

Fayetteville was one of 38 school districts honored and is the only one in Arkansas to be named to the list for school districts with 2,500 to 15,000 students.

The top rankings reflect those school boards and districts with the fullest implementation of technology benchmarks in the evolution of digital education, as represented in the survey questions, according to a news release from the district.
