Crowds fill the sidewalks as motorcycles ride along West Dickson Street during the 11th annual Bikes, Blues & BBQ motorcycle rally Saturday, Oct. 2, 2010, in Fayetteville.

— Police said preliminary figures from this year's festival included 32 arrests, 11 traffic tickets and criminal summons, two parking citations and 11 calls of accidents in Fayetteville involving motorcycles. One motorcycle was reported stolen.

Officials said the majority of criminal offenses included violations of the public intoxication and disorderly conduct statutes.

A Van Buren woman died in a motorcycle accident Sunday on Razorback Road.

Police said Samantha Langston, 23, was traveling with Jeffery Powers, 23, when their motorcycle crashed, killing Langston.

Police said Monday that the motorcycle was traveling at a high rate of speed when the accident occurred. Officials said alcohol is suspected as a contributing factor in the accident, though officials were still waiting for results of a blood test of the driver.

Powers was injured and transported to Washington Regional Medical Center. Langston was pronounced dead at the scene.

Last year police responded to 29 motorcycle accidents, made 39 arrests, issued 15 parking citations and 25 traffic citations or criminal summons for careless driving.
