Poultry runoff spurs scientists to find solution Machine that injects litter under farm soil wins patent

A concept, with more than a decade of work behind it, reached a major milestone when a research scientist and a research technician from Arkansas were awarded a patent for a machine to directly inject dry poultry litter below the soil surface.
