Catfish Hole Opens After Small Fire

— A local eatery opened for business again Tuesday after a fire Monday night briefly disrupted activities.

An overheated exhaust fan in the women’s bathroom led to a fire at the Catfish Hole, 4127 W. Wedington Drive, at about 6 p.m. Monday. Restaurant owner Pat Gazzola said the fan created sparks that ignited insulation.

Gazzola said the women’s restroom is shut down while repair is being made, but the rest of the restaurant is open for business.
