FUNDING ISSUE: HIV Clinic May Bar Some
WASHINGTON COUNTY WANTS BENTON COUNTY TO HELP PAY

Washington County officials say they may have to bar Benton County patients from treatment at the Washington County HIV Clinic unless Benton County agrees to pay another $17,000 this year.

Does the Washington Co. Clinic help illegal immigrants? Yes? If the clinic can help those from other countries, surely, they should help those from other counties!

This can't wait until after the runoff? It is clear that Washington county does not have an answer on whether the funding will come or not from Benton county. This story could have waited for more information to develop. This really is one of those budget drama situations were you have a simulated standoff and in the end guess who wins... Status quo.
