Courtway Inspires Young People In Trouble

‘COACH’ UPBEAT DESPITE CANCER DIAGNOSIS

Jeff Courtway gives a few fishing pointers to a child Saturday at the Hooked on Fishing not Drugs annual Catfish Derby at Kraft Park in Fayetteville. Courtway is the physical education teacher at the Washington County Juvenile Detention Center, leads the Washington County Outdoor Adventure Club and the Hooked on fishing program in an effort to help children overcome adversity.

Jeff Courtway shares his passion for athletics and the outdoors with troubled kids whose lives he strives to inspire and improve.
