Changes Planned For Race In 2011
HALF MARATHON DATE MAY BE PUSHED BACK

Blair Cromwell is already thinking about next year. Cromwell, the event coordinator for the March 13 Bentonville Half Marathon, expects more participants and some all-around event tinkering in 2011. The event was expected to draw 300 to 500 participants in its first year but ended up with 1,445 runners. “With any first year marathon, they say the goal should be to have 5,000 runners by your fifth year,” Cromwell said. “Now we hope to have between 3,000 to 5,000 by next year.
