The Undertaker vs. Shawn Michaels

The Undertaker puts his 17-0 undefeated streak at WrestleMania back on the line against “Mr. WrestleMania” Shawn Michaels.

Last year’s contest was considered one of the greatest matches of 2009 and WrestleMania history.

In return for The Undertaker putting the longest streak in wrestling on the line, Michaels has agreed to retire should he lose to the Deadman. Toss in the no disqualification stipulation and this has the makings of another classic. WrestleMania carries a hefty price tag, but these two are guaranteed give you your money’s worth.

Chris Jericho vs. Edge

Chris Jericho defends the World Championship against his former tag team partne Edge. Since his return from Achilles tend surgery, Edge has been dogging the new champion. The two were prime rule the WWE’s team titles, before Edge was sidelined with his injury. Jericho moved on to big and better things while Edge had to watch and wait. This match could be a show stealer as these two know when to pull out the daredevil moves.

Batista vs. John Cena

WWE Champion Batista answers challenger John Cena in a match where bad blood has run thick d deep. This will not be at classic.

Technical wrestling will take a backseat power moves and ense brawling. Batista capitalized on unsuspecting Cena in the Elimination amber match last month and stole his title. “The Animal” has become the enforcer for Mr. McMahon and it has paid off. On the “grandest stage them all,” Cena thinks to get his revenge for weeks of cheap shots and shortcuts.

Wrestling’s Most Famous Controversy Ends

For fans of the wrestling boom of the late 1990s or those few old schoolers still holding out, the match-up between Vince McMahon and Bret “The Hitman” Hart has been a long time coming.

Thirteen years to be exact.

The drama that unfolded in Montreal sent the careers of both men in opposite directions. For McMahon, it was the beginning of the most successful period in American professional wrestling. It also was the launch of the Mr. McMahon character, the evil boss who ended up on the receiving end of many Stone Cold Stunners.

For Hart, it led to a less-than-memorable run in WCW that eventually forced his early retirement due to concussions. He later suffered a debilitating stroke, a severe motorcycle accident and the breakup of his family.

Hart returned to the WWE to bury the hatchet, and did so with his opponent that night, Shawn Michaels.

In true McMahon fashion, Vince would have none of it and the feud was reborn.

McMahon’s ego once again got the better him and the WWE chairman now finds himself in a no-holds-barred match with the “Excellence of Execution.”

Hart made it clear last week, this is not going to be a match, but a down and dirty fight.

Sweet!
