Synthetic Pot Causes Concern

The substance known generically as spice is a controversial product marketed under brand names such as Spice, K2, Genie, Zohai and others.

Circuit Judge Mary Ann Gunn was aghast when she learned some of her drug court charges were smoking spice, a marijuana-like substance, in the parking lot of their treatment center.

Ok alleged increase heart rate is found. Any other evidence the stuff is harmful or is this just the Nanny State overreacting again?
