In 17 years, the Mashburn Scholarship Foundation has awarded more than $1 million to burgeoning talent to attend the University of Arkansas. This year’s crop of scholarship recipients, known as UARKettes, will stage a benefi t performance of “You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown” at 2 and 7 p.m. April 11 at the Walton Arts Center. Rosemary Rogers, volunteer foundation director, said the UARKettes not only learn their lines, lyrics and dance steps for the fundraiser, they’ve also been charged with learning to market, light, stage and produce the play.
