COMMUNITY LEADERS STRUT, SASHAY, SALSA IN FUNDRAISER FOR CHILDREN’S MUSEUM

Local celebrities did the Salsa, Two-Step and Cha-Cha - all in the name of charity.

The third annual Dancing with the Stars of Northwest Arkansas fundraiser on March 13 featured six community leaders paired with professional dancers from the Arkansas Dance Connection of Tontitown.

Proceeds benefited The Children’s Museum of Northwest Arkansas.

Local celebrity dancers included Missy Shanklin of Citiscapes magazine, Eric Edelstein from the Northwest Arkansas Naturals, Susan Chambers of Wal-Mart Stores Inc., Jake McBride of radio station KIX 104, Kalene Griffith of Bentonville Convention and Visitors Bureau and Rich Davis, formerly of the Bentonville/Bella Vista Chamber of Commerce and now with SourceGas in Fayetteville. Shanklin was named Best Dancer.
