Go Green ... for Good” Art Experience at the Bentonville Plaza brought in plenty of green for the Walnut Farm Montessori School on March 13.

About 300 school supporters and art lovers helped the Bentonville school raise approximately $25,000.

Fifteen area artists showcased and sold jewelry, paintings, sketches, tiles, stationery, photographs, pottery and decorative glass to help benefit the school.

Volunteer auctioneers Greg Donahoe and Dick Trammel certainly earned their keep for the evening, helping the school raise a record-breaking $14,000 for the 10 items on the block.

Beyond a successful fundraiser, the school is also celebrating its recent accreditation by the American Montessori Association.
