Progressive Path To Destruction

Friday, March 19, 2010

The election of Democrats was hopefully a cyclical occurrence in politics.

My problem with Americans in the last election is that they bought into the lies of Democrats and Obama. I hope that the American public has seen that the Democrat Party is not for the health and welfare of the American people.

Historically, slavery in America is more prominent today than it was in the 1800s. Democrats are gambling that Americans love entitlement programs more than they love their freedom.

Unfortunately, Democrats learned from black Americans, who consistently vote for Democrats in exchange for government handouts, even though Democrat socialist policies have turned black communities into economic and social cesspools, which for the most part do them more harm ...

The bible actually commands us to stone people for wearing linen and cotton together.
Deuteronomy.

Jesus famously said "no rich folks in heaven, thank you" ya know that whole camel, eye of needle nonsense.

the bible also states "blessed is he who dashes your enemy's child brains out"

I guess we are all progressives now
Read the WHOLE bible then read the history then be appalled.

I for one am happy for Obama, Pelosi, and all the other progressives. Now I know the end of the story or at least I will very soon. Everyone wants to know when America will crumble. Now we know it will be in OUR lifetime!!!

Whenever a common person goes to the bank to get a loan. Seems like our government grows trees of money in their back yard. As the old saying goes, money talks b/s walks.

Maybe the commentary is a little too fatalistic for me, but it is hard not to notice the downside of the social programs and its connection to voting demographics. I think sound judgment is too easily replaced by rhetoric in political and social circles. Unfortunately I can't figure out if that is the fault of the popular ignorance of the voting public or the spinning wheels of the political parties. So the morbid reality seems like: will we slowly decay with the Democratic party or go down with a blaze of glory with Republicans?

Ok, now I'm being fatalistic. Anyways, what is up with the bible references at the end of the article? It was a little uneven from the the rest of the commentary. I don't know if we have to hear what God told the Israelites to prove that the decision-making of the government is suspicious.

Politicans know that the average American cannot even name who their state representatives are, much less be able to decipher the 300+ page document on the health care bill.

Mr. Cooper--

RE "For those not in the know, the Solid South, in “the good old days,” was Democrat."

When you try to tar current Democrats by tying segregation and Jim Crow to them, you ignore the fact that southern Democrats were conservative at the time. When you denigrate progressives, you ignore the fact that it was a progressive Republican Party that ended slavery.

RE "Fifty percent or better of our society covets their neighbors’ material goods, many subsidized from cradle to grave, which is sinful and the government aids and abets them in this open sinfulness."

Advertising and economic stratification create far more covetousness than the government does. And I don't know any sane person who envies welfare recipients, any more than you know anybody who has received, at no cost to them, an enviable cradle-to-grave lifestyle from the government.

Keep at it, though. You provide a reasonable cure for the shortage of letters from Jay Cole Jr. and Sr.

Obama is not leading us down a path of destruction.

It is time the ordinary American had some protection from predatory health insurance.

Now, with the new bill, we can't be cancelled out of our insurance after we get sick.

Those younger than 26 can stay on their parents insurance.

Those, on Medicare, will get a $250 rebate, if they hit the doughnut hole.
Brand name drugs will be cut 50%. The doughnut hole will be slowly eliminated by 2020.

There is a tax credit for employer-based, early retiree health benefits for those ages 55‐64 ...in lieu of expanding Medicare to 55 year olds.

There is a tax credit for small businesses to provide health coverage for their employees

There are mandates to buy insurance, but the susidies are generous for those who can't afford the payment.

Health care reform will end denial of coverage because of preexisting conditions, first for children and later for all adults the ban on pre-existing conditions that would apply to all policies come 2014.

The ceiling on how much health insurance pays on you during a lifetime will be eliminated.

This new insurance will be good for the ordinary person, but if you like your old insurance you can keep it.

unlike our current so called ENTITLEMENT programs such as SOCIAL SECURITY and MEDICARE , which are now bankrupt the OBBUMMER HEALTH reform is BROKE before it even starts.

Remember, anything the goverment tries to run will always FAIL, just look t the POST OFFICE, FANNIE MAE, AND THE LIST WOULD FILL A BOOK.

The bottom line SOMEONE - SOMEDAY will have to pay the bill.

Bill Halter is a Progressive. He is soliciting funds from Daily Kos - dailykos.com - the Progressive Party/liberal website. His ad says that he is being sponsored by MoveOn.org a Progressive/liberal group - that gave 88 million dollars to help elect Obama in 2008 - and ActBlue - another Progressive/liberal political action committee. They claim to have collected almost 1.5 MILLION dollars for Mr. Halter.

The Progressive Party has been working for decades...and America let her guard down, and has unknowingly elected Progressives who hide in the Democratic Party. These Progressives, like Mr. Halter - will continue to destroy us financially, morally, and spiritually. Read their websites: dailykos.com and firedoglake.com

Look for Mr. Halter's ads throughout the sites...they are there for all to see. He is not hiding his extreme views - but neither is he advertising them on his generic campaign website.

Why not, Mr. Halter?

VOTE BLANCHE LINCOLN, a conservative Democrat. Thank you, Rep. Lincoln, for standing for America!

It's not either parties job to run our country. It is OURS.

Keep an eye on both. Don't let the wolves guard your sheep (children).

Take care of yourself and your country. Be kind and generous toward those DESERVING (not the lazy).

Be just in your judgement. Let no criminal feel like he got let off with a "light" punishment. Let it be fair and equitable.

Progress is ours. Not for a group or party. BE AMERICANS ALL!!!
