Simple solution, John Firmin has been done. It was done under Reagan and produced the largest deficits since WWII. Bush reduced taxes and likewise had huge deficits. Tell us where to cut federal spending? How much, how to do it. Energy Department serves mostly Big Energy and helps them keep monopoly control over energy resources.
