School Adding Auto Body Classes
ADVANCED PROGRAM WILL HELP MEET DEMAND FOR SKILL, NTI PRESIDENT SAYS

Austin Lowery, a senior at Har-Ber High School, practices spot welding Tuesday during Northwest Technical Institute’s auto collision class in Springdale. The NTI board is considering starting a post-secondary auto collision program.
Allen Rose enrolled in Northwest Technical Institute’s collision repair class because his 1979 Camaro needed body work. Now, the high school senior from Rogers wants more training and a career working on cars for other people.
