The agent for Michael Washington said Arkansas’ 6-9 forward needs rest to heal his injuries before beginning training for the NBA predraft camp and other workouts. Charles Briscoe of BP SportsManagement of Atlanta, whose agency announced the signing of Washington on Monday, said Washington played through pain more than he let on during the 2009-2010 season. “It was a combination of his back problems and the ankle injury,” said Briscoe, a native of Dumas. “He was playing a little sluggish this year, and he needs to heal up after a full college season.” Washington played in 29 of 32 games for the Razorbacks and was fourth on the team with 12.5points per game and second with 6.1 rebounds ...
