SOFTBALL Williams Baptist-Williams Woods split Marissa Hoehn slugged a home run and Chelsea Sanders banged out a three-run double as Williams Baptist (13-5, 1-1 ) took the first game of a American Midwest Conference doubleheader against William Woods College on Wednesday afternoon, 7-1, in Walnut Ridge. William Woods won the second game, 1-0. Kim Emmons (3-1 ) was the winning pitcher in the first game. Ashley Boyles had three hits in a losing effort in the second game.
