DEPARTMENT DIVISION EYED: Group To Study City Parks

MAYOR WANTS TO CREATE PANEL TO OVERSEE RECREATION

A request from Mayor Steve Womack to review and evaluate the city Parks and Recreation Department could lead to the separation of the department into a parks department while spinning off recreation activities to a stand alone commission.
