County Center Serves Role

OFFICIAL: AVERAGE 30, 40 RESIDENTS USE PROGRAM WHEN OPEN

Will Hanna, Benton County fire marshal and coordinator of the Benton County Convenience Center, talks Thursday about the electronics collected through the program. The convenience center is open the first and third Saturday of each month to collect large nonhazardous household items not collected by trash services.

Benton County’s convenience center has served almost 600 residents since it opened in November.
