Wal-Mart denies rumors of raids

A rumor that Wal-Mart Stores Inc. was coordinating and supporting immigration raids at its stores prompted the company to post a statement on its Web site, saying the allegation was “baseless and inaccurate.” It was unclear Wednesday evening how the rumors were started.
