City Set To Discuss Dickson Street Parking

The city’s Parking Management Division plans a meeting Wednesday about two programs — one that will establish regulation of residential parking near the Dickson Street entertainment district and the other that will invoke paid parking in the district itself.

The meeting will be from 6 to 8 p.m. in Room 111 of the City Administration Building.

City officials say public comments on the programs will be considered and incorporated into a final proposal.

In December, the Fayetteville City Council approved resolutions offered by the administration of Mayor Lioneld Jordan establishing their intent to revamp parking policies on and around Dickson Street.
