Cystic Fibrosis Hosts Wine Opener Fundraiser

Wine Opener volunteer Denise Martin, from left, introduces a 5 /2-week-old black Labrador puppy to Cystic Fibrosis Foundation supporters Christal Tuller and Melinda Yeaman during the VIP reception Feb. 26. The puppy was one of the live auction items during the fundraiser, and sold for $900.

“Sixtyfive roses.” It’s a phrase that’s easier for children to pronounce than “cystic fibrosis,” a chronic disease that aff ects 30,000 children and adults in the United States.
