First Christian Church in Rogers is sending three of their youth to Washington, D.C., and to New York City to participate in the International Affairs Seminar. High school seniors Tyler Button, Georgia Carter and Heather Martin will travel with associate pastor Ronny Nowell and others from Bentonville First Christian church during their spring break.

The students will meet with members of Congress and attend sessions at the United Nations to learn about different subjects affecting the world. This year the focus is on economic plans to help Third World countries prosper and also to work with low-income groups in the U.S.
