Har-Ber Hangs With North Little Rock In Season-Ending Loss

They surely felt dejected and disappointed after their season-ending defeat Friday afternoon.
But the Springdale Har-Ber Lady Wildcats didn’t emerge from their Clair Bates Arena locker room with their heads drooped or shoulders slouched. Har-Ber refused to sulk in the aftermath of Friday’s final outcome, a 60-42 loss to No. 1 North Little Rock in the quarterfinals of the Class 7A State Tournament.
Sure, the Lady Wildcats allowed 29 offensive rebounds and committed 32 turnovers. But they gave North Little Rock quite a scare before the undefeated Lady Charging Wildcats took over in the second half.
Har-Ber (15-15) led 19-17 late in the second quarter.
