Naturals Team Holds Job Fair

Positions Available for Home Games

— The Northwest Arkansas Naturals has it annual job fair Saturday at the ballpark.

The minor league baseball team will hire about 50 part-time staff members for home games, said Eric Edelstein, general manager.

The team will be taking applications and conducting interviews from 9 a.m. to noon, according to a news release.

Jobs begin on the first home game, April 8, and run into September. The last home date is Sept. 6, but playoffs could stretch employment until Sept. 19, Edelstein said.

The positions include usher, suite greeter, parking attendant, kid zone attendant, retail associate, ticket seller, program seller, bat boy, concessions and catering and kitchen cooks and staff. Pay begins at about $7.50, Edelstein said.

The team has rehired some employees from last season, Edelstein said.

Ball games require from 60 to 75 workers and up to 150 for large, special events, Edelstein said.
