Hyundai seeks Europe presence

S. Korean company trying to join automakers’ club

Visitors inspect a new Audi A1 on Wednesday at the Geneva Motor Show in Geneva. The show attracted about 250 exhibitors from 30 countries.

Hyundai said Wednesday that it aims to join the European automakers’ club, following in the footsteps of other foreign companies such as Toyota and GM, who have an established presence on the continent.
