It could have been worse
Which is the best that can be said for the Ledge

THE STATE’S first-ever fiscal session of the Legislature is now history, thank goodness, and the wonder is that it didn’t do any more damage than it did. Or as Governor Mike Beebe summed up his less than enthusiastic verdict on the session: It went about as well as could be expected. To put it another way, expectations for this session were low, and they were fulfilled.
