Donnell Alston will spend the rest of his life in prison after he was convicted in federal court of possessing nearly three ounces of crack cocaine with intent to distribute.

"Plumlee said big dealers are aware of the difference in penalties and often deal exclusively in powder cocaine, leaving minions at the lower levels to convert the drug to crack cocaine and risk the harsher sentence." Our minority children are the target audience for crime and crappy jobs? Send them to the Academy at Springdale High School sounds like there is hope for their futures there.
