Temporary Visitor Center Opens
ORIGINAL SITE AT 105 MAIN ST. CLOSED JUNE 7 FOR RENOVATION

Beth Peck of Bentonville pointed out exhibits as she strolled through the temporary Walmart Visitor Center in downtown Bentonville.
Peck moved to the area three months ago after she accepted a job with Walmart Transportation. She took her first stroll through the temporary space, called the Walmart Visitor Center on West Central, on Tuesday.
The original visitor center at 105 Main St. closed June 7 for renovation. It will open in spring 2011. Tuesday was opening day for the temporary location.
Siblings Eric and Kelsey Enyart of Ash Grove, Mo., toured the visitor center with Peck.
Kelsey, 13, seemed impressed.
“I didn’t know Walmart had so much of this history,” Kelsey said.

Visitor Center
The temporary Walmart Visitor Center is at 110 W. Central Ave.
Hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday. The center is closed on holidays. Admission is free.
