Participants in the 2010 Rodeo of the Ozarks exercise their horses around the pen at Parsons Stadium on Tuesday in Springdale. The rodeo kicks off with a parade at 3 p.m. today in downtown Springdale and events continue through Saturday at the stadium.
The Rodeo of the Ozarks will not have its traditional Independence Day conclusion, but the 66th annual event promises to have just as many fireworks, organizers say.
