Bentonville will soon be getting a world-class museum. Why not a world-class hotel to go with it?

City and business officials announced Tuesday that 21c Museum Hotels plans to build a combined hotel and contemporary art museum in downtown Bentonville, a project estimated to cost $28 million and bring about 160 permanent full-time jobs to town.

Our reaction in one word: Wow.

The unique 21c hotel franchise started in Louisville, Ky., in 2006.

In short time, it has developed a reputation as one of the best hotels not only in the country, but in the world.
