Arkansas begins bid to return to CWS

Arkansas warms up Friday afternoon before the start of the Fayetteville Regional at Baum Stadium.
Arkansas begins its journey to a second consecutive College World Series appearance this afternoon in the Fayetteville Regional at Baum Stadium.
Arkansas, the top seed in the regional, will open the tournament at 2:05 p.m. against four-seed Grambling State.
Arkansas (40-18) will bypass No. 1 starter Drew Smyly and instead throw T.J. Forrest against Grambling State.
No. 2 seed Washington State (34-20) and No. 3 Kansas State (36-20) will play at 7:05 p.m., with the winners and losers meeting in second-round games Saturday.
