City Lengthens Remaining Two Parking Meetings

— The city has doubled the scheduled times for two remaining meetings to discuss the new parking program for the Dickson Street entertainment district.

Each meeting was scheduled to last an hour. Now, they will last two.

The first meeting was held Thursday. The others are scheduled from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday in Room 219 of the City Administration Building, 113 W. Mountain St., and on Aug. 12 at the Fayetteville Public Library’s Walker Room.

The city plans to implement the new paid parking program in the Dickson Street area on Aug. 16. The program also includes employee and residential parking permit programs.
